We receive praise from many Interns and Graduates on the personal approach we take to our recruitment and selection process. Our in depth assessment is designed to help you and Kraft Foods make the right decision for your future.
Stage 1 – Online Application & Numerical Test
Register your application online and complete a candidate profile. To find out more about you we ask you to complete a list of qualifying questions in addition to three written competency based questions. If you stand out from the rest then you will be invited to complete an online numerical test to assess your aptitude for numbers which forms an important part of all of our roles.
Stage 2 – Telephone Interview
A 30 minute competency based telephone interview. This will be your first opportunity to speak with Kraft Foods Managers and influence their selection decision.
Stage 3 – Interaction Day
You will be invited to the UK Commercial Head Office in Cheltenham for an Interaction Day with other candidates. You will be given an opportunity to meet different managers and past graduates from the business whilst highlighting your potential. The day will include interactive activities such as a team exercise, an unseen case study & presentation and individual interview.
Stage 4 – Final Interview
You will be invited back to the UK Commercial Head Office in Cheltenham for one last time to assess your suitability and your long term potential within the company. You will be required to prepare and deliver a presentation on a set topic and will be interviewed further. You will also have the opportunity to meet with a senior manager from your chosen discipline to help you confirm that Kraft Foods is the right choice for you.

A 30 minute competency based telephone interview with Kraft Foods Managers.
Stage 3 – Interaction Day
You will be invited to either our UK Commercial head office in Cheltenham or our Banbury Manufacturing and RD&Q site for an Interaction Day with other candidates. This will include a variety of interactive activities such as a team exercise, a case study and presentation and individual interview, plus the chance to meet and spend time with different managers and current interns from the business.
Applications have now closed with the exception of the Chemical Engineering and Mechanical and Electrical Engineering internship roles which have been extended to 29th November 2009. (Please note the RD&Q Packaging Internship will close in February 2010).
Telephone interviews will take place during December 2009 and we will let you know prior to Christmas if you have been successful through to the next stage. Unfortunately due to the number of applications we receive we are unable to respond to all candidates directly, therefore, if you have not heard back from us prior to Christmas then unfortunately you have been unsuccessful with your application.
For Cheltenham based opportunities the Interaction Days will take place during the first few weeks of January 2010. For Banbury based opportunities Interaction Days will take place throughout December 2009 and January 2010.
For graduate opportunities the final stage will follow a week later. We will have selected our successful candidates by the end of January 2010.
